Fabulous Friday

It was a FABULOUS Friday in our pajamas!  We had our spelling test right away this morning and then went to library.  For reading today, we did the math portion of our NWEAs.  Our last day of NWEA testing will be Monday, when we finish up by taking the language portion.  For math we reviewed the concepts we worked on throughout the week and completed a worksheet over all of it, so that I know who I need to pull and give additional help next week.  We had buddies this afternoon and helped our buddy write an acrostic poem for "Fall'.  Next week we will finish it up and start helping our buddy perform a readers theatre.  These 5th graders are EXCELLENT buddies!  For team building we did the minute to win it " Nose Dive".  They had to put Vaseline on their nose, pick up a cotton ball and walk it over and put it in a bowl without using their hands!  It was a lot of fun and I will attached a video of it Monday!

This afternoon we celebrated Thomas.  He shared with us his favorite series " Diary of a Wimpy Kid", a spy kit, his favorite candy (cinnamon hard candy), his MP3 player, pictures of him and his family, and his stuffed puppy.  His favorite color is green, he LOVES candy, enjoys eating waffles, his favorite animal is a dog, and he likes funny movies.  We had fun celebrating Thomas and are thankful he is part of our class family.
