We started off with library and got a compliment so we got to add a piece to our Mr. Potato head! Way to go! For reading today, we wrapped up our question "What do we share across cultures" with discussions in small group and reviewing the main idea/supporting detail for every chapter. Then we reviewed author's purpose and showed our understanding with a worksheet. For spelling we had our unit 5 post test and I will get those graded and sent home Monday. For math, we reviewed multiplying and the steps we take. We did practice with this on our white boards and will continue practicing it next week and adding multiplying with decimals. We helped our buddied finish their leaves this afternoon and for team building we played Minute to Win It, "Bean There, Done That". It was a lot of fun and some of us were reminded that we need to watch our money because it costs $100 to participate. I hope everyone is able to do team building next week! We ended our day with a sweet treat brought by Lainey since her birthday is Friday!
We celebrated Ben this afternoon. He shared with us a picture when he was little, a picture of him and his grandpa, his first game baseball, a soccer medal, football cards, family pictures, and his Grizzly plaque. Ben enjoys playing sports but loves baseball, he has a brother that is fifteen, his favorite color is blue, his favorite animals is a gorilla, he likes the Steelers, Grizzles, and Mets. We enjoyed learning more about Ben and are thankful he is part of our class family.
