Our "Purple Hand" pledge winner for the month of October is Hailey!! Way to go Hailey for being an excellent role model and not using your words or hands for hurting yourself or others!
We celebrated Lainey today and she shared with us some medals she got from soccer, rocks/crystals, a beak skull, a framed picture of her and her friends, some great pictures of her growing up and her family. Lainey likes to explore and find things when outside. She loves the color lime green, her favorite animals are Guinea pigs and dogs, her favorite food is steak and hot wings, she has an older sister who goes to school here at Bitterroot, and she has a Guinea pig named Rusty! We loved learning more about Lainey and are so thankful she is part of our class family!!
In reading, we wrapped up this weeks question " What motivates explorers to find new places" and reread our weekly story "Questions, Questions, Questions". We worked on our "swap stories" and did some self editing with them. We were unable to do successmaker yesterday, so for math today we got on and did successmaker. For team building, we did an art activity which we didn't finish so we will have to finish them on Monday. With our buddies we went trick or treating with Mrs. O'Donnell and played a Halloween "I have, who has?" game.
I hope everyone has a FABULOUS weekend and comes to the Pumpkin Patch party tonight from 6:30-8:00!
