Thrilling Thursday

This morning Mrs. Neese came in and did a counseling lesson with the class.  For reading, we discussed this week's story as a whole group and then met in small groups with Mrs. Umemoto.  We are  doing 3 rotations during small group time, after our 30 minutes of whole group.  We meet with Mrs. Umemoto, read with a partner, and work on our independent work.  In small group today we discussed our small group story while working on our comprehension strategy, making inferences.  For independent work we did spelling and identifying plot and resolution. For math, we spent the day working with geometric terms and then will do more with them tomorrow.  We took LOTS of notes!

This afternoon we did social studies and read about/discussed the globe, continents, and hemispheres. For $20 tomorrow write down what hemisphere we live in!
