Happy Tu Tu Tuesday! This morning I was gone in a workshop and returned after lunch. Right away this morning was health enhancement. During reading, we practiced spelling by doing page 55 and then for reading discussed the Bill of Rights and completed a comprehension worksheet on it. For math, we are getting started with division and discussed the meaning of it along with how to solve simple division problems. Division is how many are in a group when an amount is shared equally. Division can be solved by repeated subtraction, sharing, or by using a factor knowing that multiplication and division are in the same fact family (21 divided by 4= or 4 X T=28). We will be practicing with division throughout the week. Tomorrow we will be getting started with our O.R.E.O project during reading and it should be a lot of fun! Don't forget your oreos! Comprehension homework was send home along with reading log needing to be completed. I will not be accepting any missing work after Friday along with any library missing work!!
